Clear and precise observation

Thanks to its shorter focal length, the finderscope can be used to focus on a specific part of space. Once the star is in the right axis, the telescope can be adjusted. KIDYTELESCOPE offers a clear view with a diameter of 50 mm and a focal length of 360 mm. It includes a 20 mm eyepiece for 18x magnification and a 6 mm eyepiece for 60x magnification, as well as a Barlow lens that triples magnification to capture the finest details. The 45° diagonal prism ensures optimum comfort during prolonged observation sessions, thanks to its variable angle. It also allows the image to be viewed in the ‘right’ direction, unlike a finderscope.

  • I can’t see anything when I look through the telescope. What should I do?

    Don’t worry – a few adjustments are often needed the first time you use it. To get a sharp image:

    1. Choose the eyepiece best suited to your observation.
    2. Point the telescope towards a well-lit area (never towards the sun).
    3. Use the focus knobs until you get a clear, sharp image.

    Just like a real telescope, it may take a few attempts to find the ideal setting.
  • Which lens should I use?

    The KIDYTELESCOPE comes with several eyepieces suited to different observing situations.

    • 20 mm eyepiece: perfect for observing distant objects with a wider field of view. Ideal for landscapes, the Moon and introductory astronomical observations
    • 6 mm eyepiece: provides greater magnification. Ideal for observing more detail or getting a closer visual view of certain celestial objects
    • The Barlow lens: increases the telescope’s magnification when used in conjunction with the other eyepieces. Ideal for observing even more detail on certain celestial objects. For best results, ensure you are observing in good lighting conditions and with the focus carefully adjusted
