Can you share the audio with another pair of headphones? Yes. You can connect two headphones to the same device using a dual-jack adapter. It’s the perfect solution for watching a film, listening to music or following a story together.
-
Up to what age are helmets suitable? Thanks to their adjustable headband, KIDYEARS and K-EARS will last children for many years. They’re suitable for everyone from young children to teenagers… and even adults who appreciate their comfort! (from 4 years old up to 99 years and over)
-
Which version of Bluetooth is used? The KIDYEARS and K-EARS use Bluetooth 5.0 technology. This provides a stable, fast connection and excellent compatibility with most smartphones, tablets and computers.
-
What is the difference between KIDYEARS and K-EARS? KIDYEARS and K-EARS share the same technical specifications, audio quality and features. The only difference lies in the design
KIDYEARS: Playful design with light-up ears – a more childlike and creative style – colours suited to younger children (recommended for ages 4 and over)
K-Ears: A more streamlined and modern design – a look designed for older children and pre-teens – more understated and trendy colours (recommended for ages 8 and over)
-
Can we set child mode as the default? No. To ensure the headset is used appropriately in every situation, child mode resets automatically each time the headset is switched off. You will therefore need to reactivate it the next time you switch it on if you wish to use the volume limit.
-
Does child mode work when the headset is plugged into the jack? No. The volume limit is only active in Bluetooth mode. When the headphones are used with a jack cable, this volume limit is no longer applied. We therefore advise parents to monitor the volume levels of devices connected via a cable.
-
Are the helmets certified as BPA- and BPS-free? Yes! Our KIDYEARS and K-EARS helmets have been tested and certified as free from BPA and BPS, so you can use them with complete peace of mind.
